We offer many fine leathers, carpets and materials that greatly enhance an owners personal driving pleasure.
Why not fit Rolls Royce grade wool carpet to a Sunbeam or top quality leather in
a TVR? We have owners that have done just that and what a fine ride they have.
How about a 2001 BMW paint color on a 1977 MGB? This can be Very Stylish. We offer many possibilities to tastefully enhance an owners car to their sense
of taste. If an owner wants purple polka dots on their screaming yellow car, we
make sure they are the well done polka dots that are the right color. Years ago, about 15 or so, we
totally restored a 1956 Jaguar XK140 roadster for a graduate of Texas A&M.
University. The owner wanted the car's paint and cockpit to be done in the school
colors. We did the car's paint and leather (deep burgundy paint with biscuit
leather) in colors very close to original Jaguar colors that were satisfactory
to the owner's desire. He was happy and the car looked fabulous, especially so
to Texas Aggies. Naturally, we also restore cars to original specification
as well yet enjoy doing tasteful custom work
from time to time.
We offer a nice line of interior kits for many Jaguar, MG, Austin Healey, Triumph, Rolls Royce and Bentley cars from 1950 to now. We also supply and fit smaller English cars with a complete replacement of the interior available in several colors and materials. These kits. properly installed will return the cockpit to how it was "in the beginning".
A few of our specialties include:
1. Welding- We can rebuild rusty or weak structural areas by replacing floors, sectioning out and replacing rusted body areas with new steel as well as welding and repairing structural cracks. Sandblasting out rust and chemically treating metal to keep the rust bug away is a common job here.
2. Machining- We routinely make, modify or repair parts that are either unavailable or in need of a little massage to fit.
3. Painting- We paint all our engine rebuilds in their original colors. Engine compartments can be completely stripped and repainted to match a color change paint job. All suspension or component rebuilds can be repainted in original colors (black) using high grade automotive paints.
4. Interior- We rebuild seats and seat frames and are able to replace entire interiors on many of the cars we service. Fine leathers, wool carpets and broadcloth headliners can make many a car very nice to drive. We also install custom sound systems that appear original but sound great and offer many other accessories.
There are many possibilities on interiors. On this Bentley convertible, we are replacing the convertible top tacking wood.
These were hand cut and carved to fit as original. We
used close grain mahogany which should last longer then the original ash.
